| RESIDENCE. ??? POSSESSIONS. · Standard ninja outfit, including: one headband with forehead protector, marked with the Leaf symbol of his village, black ¾ sleeved shirt and capri-length pants (with pockets), one Konohagakure-style flak jacket, two fingerless gloves with metal plating on the back, one pair of open ninja sandals, cloth strips wrapped around the right thigh with an additional weapon holder attached to them, cloth strips wrapped around each leg in a leg warmer-type fashion, and one pouch worn just below his waist on the back, containing numerous ninja weapons (detailed below). · Writing brush and ink (for writing down information or on paper tags). · · One mask covering Kakashi's face from his cheekbones down. WEAPONS. · An assortment of ninja weapons, including kunai, shuriken, scrolls, wire string, and paper tags (plain, explosive, and ball-shaped). It's hard to give a number to these, although we do get a look inside Naruto's waist pouch in one panel, and can assume Kakashi's is similar. However, each scroll can be used to hold multiple objects and tools, thus increasing the potential number of weapons on any given person to...a lot. The flak jacket has six additional scroll holders on the front. One of Kakashi's scrolls is used for a special summoning technique, as discussed in the abilities section. It's also likely that at least one scroll is blank, in case information needs to be written down and sent somewhere. EXPLORATION. Kakashi's first task is to explore the compound where prisoners are held, which will take a good bit of his first island day. GOALS. Get off the island, and figure out how to stop anyone else from being brought on. |

| TRIGGERS. None in the sense of "this will instantly make him panic?" But Kakashi is very protective of those he considers his teammates. Mess with them, and you will have one unhappy ninja coming after you. MEDICAL INFO. Kakashi's pretty much in peak physical condition, a highly trained and skilled ninja. If your character can tell that sort of thing, they're free to notice his left eye is not biologically his. Even if they can't scan for dna or anything, the appearance is drastically different than his right eye. He's also got a vertical scar over his left eye, which is visible when he lifts up his headband. MENTAL INFO. This isn't specifically addressed for Kakashi, but because he is both a ninja with high rank and lots of experience, it's safe to say there are some mental blocks in place in his head. However, this would likely apply to secret ninja info that no one here really cares about. That said, basic mind-reading is okay, but delving into his past or highly personal things? I'd prefer to be asked first. Kakashi tends to be secretive. FOURTH-WALLING. I'd say ask? Kakashi will be seriously less than pleased to be told he's fictional or have random people know about his past, so I'd like you to ask before going there out-loud, at least. If a character wants to silently recognize him, then that's probably okay. PHYSICAL CONTACT. If he trusts you, then you're fine. But if he doesn't really know you, expect Kakashi to watch those movements; he's trained enough to be able to tell when something's harmless. Moreover, despite his laid back demeanor, Kakashi is pretty much always on guard. But a pat on the shoulder or something like that? A-okay. ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS. Pfft. This is going to have to be developed. Kakashi is never shown going there in canon, and with pretty solid reason based in his background. I'm open to the idea, but it won't be happening on a casual basis. INJURE/KILL. ...Ninja. Ask first. DEVICE HACKING. As of now, this is pretty much an open book. Kakashi doesn't have a clue how to protect his devices from being hacked. Right now, he barely knows how to turn them on. Yay technology. THREADJACKING. Unless it's super serious, feel free! Generally speaking, I love it! ANYTHING ELSE. Kakashi is a huge fanboy of a certain series, and has one of his books on the island with him. Do not mess with this book. :| |

PERMISSIONS
Friday, 8 December 2028 11:55 pmKakashi's left eye is what's called a Sharingan in canon, and grants him greatly enhanced vision of both physical movements and of chakra, enhanced ability to create illusions via hypnosis, and the ability to copy both physical and chakra-based techniques. Naruto defines chakra as the combination of physical stamina and spiritual energy. There are limitations on the chakra abilities Kakashi can copy, however!
-Kakashi must watch the technique with his left eye, which means it must be uncovered when the ability is performed.
-It must be something Kakashi can potentially learn without the Sharingan. In other words, if your character has an ability unique to their dna/bloodline/etc., chances are good he can't copy it. Examples of abilities Kakashi can't use are any kekkei genkai in Naruto, Vash and Knives' abilities in Trigun, mutant abilities in X-men. However, the Rei-gun or Rei-ken of Yuu Yuu Hakushou would be copyable.
-Naruto makes a point of classifying internal spiritual energy versus external natural energy. As Kakashi can't absorb external energy, he can't copy abilities that require this skill. So while the kidou of Bleach shinigami could potentially be copied, the abilities of the Quincy (which draw energy from the surroundings) cannot. Alchemy in Fullmetal Alchemist is also out.
And of course, I'd need permission oocly. If there are any questions, feel free to ask. And if you are okay with this, I'd really appreciate a comment listing the abilities Kakashi has the potential to copy, just for my reference. This pretty much applies to unique "special moves," general physical fighting styles are icly always copyable. And as a rule, I will if at all possible get in touch with someone oocly should this come up.

Thursday, 21 October 2010 09:18 pmCharacters: Hatake Kakashi and Uchiha Itachi
Status: Closed
Summary: The two week mark has come, and Kakashi's not just worried about his own sanity. Itachi hasn't been around in awhile either.
Location:The Ruins, where els-- Mirage pool.
Warnings: NC-17 eventually.
Kakashi hadn't liked the idea of avoiding Itachi after their previous encounter, but any meeting between the two would be weighted in what had transpired that time in the ruins. The words and the actions still burned in Kakashi's memory, none of which could be unwoven from the heavy chains now wrapped around each man, pulled suffocatingly tight each time Kakashi thought over them. Guilt, of course, the self-blame that always lingered in the back of Kakashi's mind burned a touch brighter for his experience with insanity. But there was more to it than he cared to admit, a level of pleasure that he had so much less experience approaching. Kakashi almost felt childish for the awkwardness it inspired, but that was reality, just as undeniable as the ticking time.
And this time, Kakashi had kept track. After what had happened before and since, he didn't dare lose count of the days, though he still waited to act on Loki's mandate. And it had finally come, the first night where sleep was illusive at best, and plagued by visions at worse. Or it would have been, if Kakashi had spent that night in his bed. Instead, however, he'd gone to the edge of the ruins, and summoned his nin-dog pack to search for a specific person. Embarrassment aside, Kakashi knew he couldn't quite bring himself to broach this issue with anyone else. And beyond that, Itachi had said it himself: their times now meshed, and unless he had already resolved his own problem, the Uchiha would be suffering just the same.
Yet when the howls sounded, they didn't come from the deserted area Kakashi had come to know so well, but closer to the room he'd made into something resembling a home. More than a little curious, Kakashi ultimately found himself at the pool of the hotel, looking at a familiar solitary figure who in turned stared into the water. The dogs already sent away, Kakashi approached Itachi quietly, but never silently. He had no wish to startle the man into an attack, something that might be fatal, or widen the rift they'd only started to close.
"Care to share what you're seeing?" Or maybe what he was looking for; Itachi remained unreadable as always, but to Kakashi, this silence ran much deeper than what was typical. He wouldn't be surprised to hear that Itachi still struggled with the demons unleashed in Kakashi's suicidal agony, but better not to assume. Details wouldn't be pried into the open so easily, and carelessly formed conclusions would only give them a better place to hide.

Status: Closed
Summary: Kakashi waited too long, concerning himself with everyone else, but not his own well-being. Now too many sleepless nights have added up, and Itachi's about to find him on the brink.
Location: Deep in the ruins.
Warnings: NC-17. Will update as necessary with specifics.
Drip. Drip.
The smallest sound, yet it echoed in Kakashi's mind like a scream. The cries of the dead, the blood slowly creeping across his kunai. All accused him, rightfully so, pointed out his failure to protect the village and the people he loved, because in the end, even being trash could only be an aspiration. Kakashi had heard them over the past days and nights, whispering over the words of the ninja, then more, until they'd turned to flesh, solid and whole (except for the pieces their enemies had ripped away), and undeniable.
He couldn't deny them. He wouldn't dare.
Everything had come to this, pressed impossibly heavy on Kakashi's shoulders, whipping his back until he had fled (and he was good at that, oh yes, running from the comrades he should have tried to save,) into the ruins, into solitude away from the people who weren't born of his guilt, but still punished by his actions, his failures. Oh, some traces of his rational mind remained, just enough to recognize the illusions as thus, but that only made it worse. Because Kakashi had been warned of the insanity, and still, he neglected it, covered time with a veil of good intentions until he couldn't look any of his friends in the face without seeing blood and gore, brains leaking from cracked skulls, broken jaws struggling to demand answers.
Why, Kakashi? Why did you let this happen?
But now he sat alone, lost within decaying buildings and his own thoughts. Even the phantoms had fled, but not before giving him a task. Penance, that had been their word. Penance and prevention, because how could someone washed in as much blood as Kakashi truly be qualified to lead? How can you be Hokage if you can't even save one friend? Naruto's words, sharp as a knife planted through his heart and twisted, turned and Kakashi only gasped, keeping the agony in. Death would save them. His death, to save everyone Kakashi loved from another mistake, a bad choice, scum lower than scum. His fingers trembled as they worked away the soaked cloth from over his left eye--Obito's eye, weeping for the meaninglessness of the sacrifice. Yet the kunai, that he held steady, for in his mind he could already see and already hear the blood soaking it, steadily dripping to the ground in a final apology.
He was ready, and this--this was right. Kakashi raised his knife, aiming for the empty center in the red. Peace for all of them, and even himself, someone so unworthy of the blessing. Yes. This really was the only way.
